Florville is a lot like Justine in her ability to get on Fate's bad side. This is one of my favorite of de Sade's works--the plot has so many twists, you may need a diagram to follow it. I won't give anything away on it, but read it if you can. Be warned, it's not in the style most often associated with the Marquis.
